Can Yorkshire Violinist perform on my wedding date?
Every enquiry is welcomed, and your date can be accommodated with either me personally or one of my trusted Approved Performers.
How do I reserve my wedding music chapters?
Booking is simple: Contact me via the online enquiry form here to check your date, read and sign your Booking Contract, receive your Booking Deposit Invoice, invest a £150 non-refundable deposit that secures your chosen chapters, and the final balance is due six weeks before your wedding day.
What’s changed in the Yorkshire Violinist experience since January 2026?
I’ve refined the chapter structure, booking process, and timeline to make your booking and planning experience calm, clear, and effortless.
If I’ve already booked, do the new terms affect me?
All existing bookings remain under the terms you agreed to - nothing changes for you.

About Emily Harding | Yorkshire Violinist

A Classically Trained Violinist

Emily Harding, known professionally as the Yorkshire Violinist, is a classically trained violinist and educator based in Huddersfield. She studied at The University of Huddersfield and the Royal Northern College of Music, refining her craft before embarking on a versatile and vibrant musical career leading to her founding Yorkshire Violinist.

Performing Across the UK

Emily performs across the UK as a soloist, electric violinist, and ensemble collaborator. She has worked with renowned groups including Symphonic Ibiza (alongside McBusted, Five, Eternal and Damage have been the support acts!), the celebrated Storm Electric Strings and the cinematic Limelight Orchestra, and has performed with the BBC, Channel 4, Sir Cliff Richard, and Andrea Corr. Highlights also include theatre appearances nationwide and serving as Orchestral Leader of the Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra from 2013 to 2019.

Expertise in Bespoke Wedding Music

As Yorkshire Violinist, Emily brings her artistry and professionalism to weddings and events, creating bespoke live music experiences that elevate every moment. Her extensive performance experience ensures couples enjoy a polished, elegant soundtrack for their day, tailored to their vision.

Passionate Educator

Emily also nurtures the next generation of musicians through Yorkshire Violinist tuition services. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience in state and private schools, music services, and private lessons, she offers tailored guidance in violin, piano, and music theory to students of all levels.

Life Beyond the Music

Away from performing and teaching, Emily finds inspiration exploring the Yorkshire countryside as a keen hiker. She shares her life and love of music with her husband Paul, also a professional musician (MD for several touring theatre shows and solo singer-guitarist), and their three children: the ‘Teenager, Tweenager, and Threenager’.
